About Michelle

After leaving school I attended Leigh college for 2 years where I gained a B-Tec National diploma in Beauty therapy.  On completing my course I started work at a newly opened salon in Pemberton called Peaches. After 8 years I decided to venture out on my own as a mobile therapist eventually building up a regular clientele, a lot of whom are still with me today.

I have always had a passion for massage and aromatherapy so I looked into other complementary therapies, In 1998 I began a reflexology course with Simon Duncan, I qualified in 1999 and my love of healing therapies began. In 2004 I took my 1st and 2nd degree in the Usui system of natural healing, I was intrigued to learn more and went on to train up to master level in Reiki and Seichem, In 2014 I qualified as a master teacher, enabling me to pass on my knowledge to others interested in this wonderful therapy. I wrote my own course material and manuals and all courses comply with the Reiki National Core Curriculum and Reiki and Seichem Association

After teaching Reiki and Seichem for a few years I added Indian Head Massage and Ear Candling and I’ve recently added Crystals and Crystal Healing for beginners workshop, Crystal Healing Practitioner and  Crystal Reflexology  to my holistic therapy training courses, all my courses are accredited by the ABT and are insurable. I strongly believe in what I do and wish to pass on my knowledge and experience. Students are always welcome to contact me after their course if they need advice or guidance. 

Over the last 30 years I have worked with a wide range of clients from the young to the more mature, I work with clients with various acute and chronic medical conditions as well as those who wish to relax and re balance. In 2013-2015 I volunteered as a member of a group of therapists at my local hospital on the oncology ward where we provided reflexology, reiki and massage to the  patients, staff and carers. I met so many wonderful people who where affected by cancer but whose positive attitudes never failed to amaze me.

I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, The Reiki and Seichem Association and The Association of Reflexologists and comply with their ethics and guideline policies.

I am a founder member of the Wigan Wellness Web a local community group that was set up in 2020 in response to the Covid Pandemic, our aim is to bring awareness of the benefits of holistic therapies and other holistic activities to help improve physical, emotional and spiritual well being. Through the Wigan Wellness Web I offer Holistic Therapies Taster Day, regular Meditation Classes, Reiki Drum Meditation, Cacao Ceremonies, Sacred Soul Gatherings and Reiki Shares.

On  a personal note I love crystals, nature and meditation, I practice various techniques of meditation including mantras, mindfulness, chanting and self guided meditations. I’ve been on my own spiritual journey for 30 years, I’m particularly interested in paganism, shamanism and light language, I feel I’m constantly evolving and this knowledge and energy is passed on to my clients and students. I stock a small selection of crystals, selenite towers, crystal pendulums and crystal chakra sets from my home therapy room, available to purchase in person or delivered locally to your home.

Some of my treatments are available mobile around the Wigan area and all of my therapies/treatments are available from my home therapy room in Winstanley, Wigan, all of my holistic therapy training  courses are also run from my home.
